"The film takes us on an extraordinary journey into the heart of the Western Desert in Fayoum, home to ""Wadi Hitan""—a unique living testament to the evolution of the largest marine creature on Earth. It reveals how the Fayoum region was submerged beneath the sea millions of years ago, leaving behind over 1,000 skeletons of giant whales, some reaching 18 meters in length, alongside fossils of other ancient marine life. The valley serves as a key to understanding the transition of whales from land-dwelling mammals to giant marine creatures and is also a habitat for rare and endangered species. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, Wadi Hitan has witnessed significant conservation efforts, most recently the establishment of the ""Fossils and Climate Change Museum,"" which narrates the story of life and climate in this enchanting region"
