"The film sheds light on Prince Youssef Kamal’s unique encyclopedia, considered an unparalleled geographical and historical legacy that compiles maps of Egypt and Africa throughout the ages. It unveils the passionate genius of the Prince; a devoted lover of Egypt, a traveler, an archaeologist, and an art enthusiast who founded the School of Fine Arts in 1905. He was also a patriotic politician who answered the nation's call during the 1919 Revolution. For nearly 13 years, the Prince traversed the halls of the most prestigious libraries and museums in Paris, London, the Vatican, Vienna, Berlin, and Leiden. His mission was to gather every map documenting the geographical evolution of Egypt, Africa, and the Nile Basin, from pre-Ptolemaic times to the dawn of the European Renaissance. The film emphasizes that the ""Kamalian Collection"" is rich in rare documents and valuable travel records. It is particularly distinguished by its inclusion of Islamic maps, accompanied by French translations, all presented in luxurious editions."
